I was born and raised on the east coast, in a suburb of Philadelphia. I moved to Boston for college, studying biology at MIT, then went on to complete a Ph.D in Neuroscience at the University of California in San Francisco. Since then, I have continued to live in the Bay Area with my husband Nathan and our pups Cooper and Lucy.

Photography has always been a great joy of mine. In particular, I love to shoot weddings because of the honest emotion and beauty of the day.
